A bit of history:
DEVEZE spreads itself over 20 hectares of large green plains, overlooking a 1.7 hectare lake reserved for fishing and canoeing, in a preserved environment. It’s a great mixture of nature and deep emotions.
Deveze had been a farm for over 400 years, with one single room with one window, and stables.
M. Dupont, who was born there, decided, as he was nearing old age, to make it into a campsite. The building was extended; the comfort was adapted to modern needs.
The next owners, the Lautier family, developed the infrastructure further, and lived there with their three children, whilst exploiting the campsite, as it had become renowned throughout Europe and was now a three star establishment.
Mrs Huisman scrupulously kept the tradition going.
It is not long since the domain was taken over by two young couples (Mylène & Jean-Pierre and Jocelyne & Hervé ). They are already looking forward to welcoming you in their domain one day.

Reception
Reception is open between the hours of 08:00 am and 20:00.

Terrace
The bar and its terrace conveniently situated in the shade will allow you to enjoy yourself all day long, while sipping refreshing beverages

Sites
The sites are spacious, at least 100 square meters, often larger. A large car park is available for your car.
Each site is separated from its neighbours by a dense hedge,
to preserve your intimacy.

|
Sanitary
Devèze has three sanitary buildings with showers and lavatories (some designed for body care, others equipped for the washing up).
A shower for private use is available. You can ask for the key in reception .
The sanitary blocks are cleaned daily.
A laundry space , located in reception, is also at your disposal. It is equipped with a coins washing machine and dryer, iron and ironing table.

Grocery Store
A grocery store is open daily. A range of varied products awaits you.

* Local products, etc…
Bread
Freshly baked bread every morning : baguettes, croissants, raisin buns, wholemeal loafs await you in the grocery store.
Pizza/Café
For a campsite under the sun of Southern France, pizza is a must. Deveze offers you daily à la carte choices.
The café offers chips, with or without a small side dish. A dish of the day will be offered in the restaurant.

Drinkable water
Each site has its own drinkable water spot. Its quality is checked regularly and certified by local authorities.
Water is meant for drinking only, if you wish to wash your car, please use the washing station down in the village.

Miscellaneous
One of the assets of Deveze is its lake and its dense forest inviting to walks in the purely naturist spirit.
The lake lends itself to meditation, fishing and sunbathing.
Deveze offers you a movie center and a green open air theatre.
A rather well supplied library is at your disposal (Dutch, French, English, German) with children books, jigsaws …
Magazines and newspapers.
Read your newspapers or magazines ? Leave them at the bar for other campers to enjoy!
